Last year "When Harry Met Sally" played,
Since you were too sick to go out,
The ball counted down,
On the carpet lying sound,
What a year to look forward to,
The world at large kept spiraling,
Even though my head was up,
Had some plans, some forced hands,
Still a good year if I skew it right,
The crow flew by, in a crooked line,
I still got somewhere it seems,
so much else to pay attention to,
Still this year would’ve been nice with you,
I’m sitting here reading the tea leaves,
What sort of year am I looking forward to,
Last year was a mess,
This one might top it,
What sort of year am I looking forward to
Should all acquaintance be forgot,
And Time move on after all?
